JOHNATHAN MAGERKORTH, DVM
Dr. Magerkorth is a native Virginian who began his career in veterinary medicine in 1986. He graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and an A.S. in General Studies (Cum Laude). He also graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Health Sciences. Dr. Magerkorth earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Prince Edward Island-Atlantic Veterinary College in Canada.
Dr. Magerkorth's special interests include working on companion animals (dogs and cats), as well as freshwater fish (specifically, koi and goldfish). Dr. Magerkorth has taken courses on health certification of fish through the University of Wisconsin Madison – College of Veterinary Medicine as well as attended numerous courses on fish health, medicine, and surgery.

SUSAN STEINKAMP, DVM
Dr. Steinkamp was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She attended Purdue University to receive her B.S. in Animal Science. In 1977 she graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in Emergency Medicine as well as General Practice.
Dr. Steinkamp’s practice includes companion animals (dogs and cats) with a special interest in dentistry. She has completed the North American Veterinary Conference Dentistry Course in Florida, as well as additional training at Animal Dental Training Center in Maryland.
Dr. Steinkamp’s four-legged family includes:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Exams start at 9:00 a.m. with our last exam at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Friday our exams start at 9:00 a.m. with the last exam at 4:00 p.m. We perform surgeries every Friday.
